MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED
How do I adjust the Svan Chair?
What's the coolest thing about the Svan Chair that I can't find anywhere else?
The coolest thing about the Svan Chair? It transforms! Use it as a classic highchair for your young baby. In a few months, you can remove the tray, letting your baby sit right at the table with the rest of the family. As your child grows, the Svan Chair grows with her; the depth of the seat and height of the footrest adjust, so she's ergonomically supported at the table throughout childhood. And when she's grown, it can be used as a full-sized chair!
What makes the Svan Chair different from any other adjustable highchair?
The Svan Chair is the most ergonomically effective chair for your child. It's the only highchair on the market with a seat that adjusts in two dimensions: both the height and depth can be adjusted to properly fit your child. This means that your baby sits snugly against the tray or table at any age, preventing extra mess escaping down her front and keeping her sitting safely and comfortably. You can also change the height and depth of the footrest to fit your child's growing legs.
Why do I have to use an Allen key to adjust the highchair?
To keep your child safe. If you have to use a key, you can't adjust it on the fly – and neither can a sibling, the dog, or anyone else when you're not looking, or when the baby is sitting in the chair.
How long will my child benefit from sitting in the Svan Chair?
Your child can use the Svan Chair even as an adult, as a full-sized chair! And throughout childhood, the adjustable foot support will grow with her, giving her proper ergonomic support until her feet reach the floor.
How do you pronounce "Svan"? What does it mean?
It's pronounced like it looks – "swan" with a "v". Svan is actually the Swedish word for "swan" – Svan's curved design models the elegant curves of a swan's neck.

The crotch bar doesn't attach to the guard. Help!
Why does my tray slope?
Do I ever have to tighten the hardware?
You might need to; you should check your chair for looseness regularly. The Svan Chair is made of natural materials; as they mature, they may loosen up a bit. Check the hardware about a month after you first put the chair together, and every once in a while after that, especially if you move the chair around a lot or carry it in the car.
